  • ReDesign of JB Design and Photo Website is live

    After a large amount of work coding XHTML, CSS, and PHP, I have finally completed the re-design for JB Design and Photo. Take a minute to look around and if you have any feedback, feel free to try out the new, easy to use, contact form.

    This new website is part of a new process to make it easier to keep track of your current projects, as well as requesting new services or features.  Some of the exciting new products that are now being offered include:

    • -Web Hosting directly through JB Design and Photo
    • -Domain Registration/Renewal through JB Design and Photo
    • -Newly re-designed JB Design and Photo website to make it easier to get the help and information you need
    • -For clients with a Wordpress-based site, Wordpress has just released version 2.7, including some major changes to make everything easier
    • -Email Marketing Campaigns - JB Design and Photo is now working with MailChimp to help our clients send out great looking, and powerful Email Campaigns (in fact, we used MailChimp to send out our Holiday Email Campaign)
    • Advanced Website Statistics and Reporting - JB Design and Photo is now working with Google Analytics to provide weekly website statistics, as well as advanced reports, including e-commerce tracking, email and ad campaign tracking, and moreCampaigns

    I am planning to launch a slew of new features and services as part of a redesign/refresh of JB Design and Photo, including a client portal, new web hosting, a new website, new logo, and much more. Part of the goal with this redesign is to make it easier for you, our client/friend/business partner, to get the information/assistance you need as quickly and easily as possible.

    In the meantime you may experience slowness and a few bugs may slip through the cracks as we transition our website over to the new system.

  • Gamer Junkie Website and Gamer Junkie Forums Launched

    This week we launched a new project that I've been working on called Gamer Junkie and the Gamer Junkie Forums. The idea behind Gamer Junkie is to collect the latest news and information on upcoming and popular games and gather it all into one place for gamers to find.

    To make it easier to find specific information on the hottest games there is also the Gamer Junkie Network, which consists of sites like World of Warcraft Junkie, Diablo Junkie, Starcraft Junkie, Command and Conquer Junkie, and more dedicated to specific games. There are also the Gamer Junkie Forums, where gamers can go to discuss the latest and greatest video games and video game news, and information.

    Gamer Junkie

    The Gamer Junkie site is built on a highly customized installation of Wordpress, as are the individual sites that make up the Gamer Junkie Network. The Gamer Junkie Forums are running with the vBulletin forum software with customizations done for performance, and search engine optimization.

    We are now in the process of growing the forums with new traffic, members, posts, and threads, and hope to build the forum into a place where gamers can go to discuss the latest and greatest games.

  • High Chair Productions Site Launched

    High Chair Productions - Minnesota Music Production

    High Chair Productions is a new Music Production Company here in Minnesota.  I am currently working with them to develop a logo and business identity, as well as a new website to promote their business online.  I highly recommend local artists get in contact with High Chair Productions and see what they have to offer.
